Lion's rally to escape home loss scare from Giants 34-27 in OT!
The Detroit Lion's waited about as long as you can wait to bail themselves out of what could have been a devastating loss! The New York Giants with 2 wins on the season put a scare into the Lions Sunday afternoon at Ford Field. It took a late FG to tie the score and then a 69 yard TD run by Jahmyr Gibbs (265 tot. yds) to steal a victory away and keep the Lion's in the North Division hunt!
Whether they were looking forward to the Thanksgiving Day game vs the Packers or not the Lion's need to shape up and play better defense and get back playing with that edge they had a few weeks ago!
They need to avenge the season opening defeat that Green Bay gave them and stay in the chase of the Bears in the North!
Kickoff is set for 1pm Thursday at Ford Field in what should be another exciting rivalry game!

"THE GAME" and Ohio St. Saturday!
Trying to avoid the "Trap" game the Wolverines had none of that this past Saturday as they took care of Maryland at the Big House 45-20! The victory moved Michigan to 9-2 on the season and 7-1 in the league as they look to welcome Ohio State to the Big House Saturday at 12pm noon!
In what is known as "THE GAME" the #1 Ohio St Buckeyes will come to Ann Arbor undefeated and on a roll! A strong Defense and high powered Offense are what is on tap for the young Wolverines!
It will be Bryce Underwood and Ohio St. QBs first time playing in this ballgame so that will make for good theatre! Both teams have some injuries they are dealing with but you throw away the records and injuries in this heated Rivalry game!
Michigan had some key subs step up and make great plays vs Maryland and as has been the case all year long people stepped up when called upon!
It should be a great week leading up to Saturday culminating with what should be another classic game!

Alex DeBrincat scored the game winner in OT to move the1st place Wings to 13-8-1 and a Atlantic Div. leading 27 points! The team never quit and fought until the end in what was an exciting game Saturday afternoon at a 1pm puck drop! The youth moves have seen instant payoff and the execution is improving game by game.

Detroit Pistons move to 14-2 overall after beating the Milwaukee Bucks 126-116
The streak has reached 12 as in straight wins by the Detroit Pistons after defeating the Milwaukee Bucks Saturday night in Milwaukee! The Bucks, playing without the "Greek Freak" Giannis Antetokounmpo who is sidelined by injury were unable to stay with the Pistons who are playing the best ball in the league!
Detroit will put that streak on the line again Monday night in Indiana (2-14) vs the Pacers at 7pm!
The Pistons are on a stretch here of basketball that we have not seen around here in a while. Coach Bickerstaff has his group clicking with players sitting out injured or not they aren't skipping a beat!
However long this will last the best thing is to sit back and enjoy the fine play.
