Wolverines game week prep for New Mexico
Saturday night at 7:30pm on NBC
Coach Sherone Moore and his University of Michigan football team are in game 1 week prep for this Saturday nights home opener at The Big House. Kickoff is set for 7:30pm on NBC as the Lobos of New Mexico come to Ann Arbor for a primetime game!
The team has gone through a vigorous fall camp and starters have separated from the pack! Monday Coach Moore announced that his starting QB will be #1 recruit and Belleville, Mi native Bryce Underwood as his starting signal caller! The true Frosh will lead the offense on the field and his high expectations are greatly anticipated to watch by the 109,000 plus in attendance!
Michigan is a heavy favorite over the Lobos and should be a good warmup game leading into their week 2 game in Norman, Okla vs the Oklahoma Sooners!

Michigan Volleyball to play 6 matches on BIG Network this fall
The Michigan Women's Volleyball team will be starting their Fall season on Aug. 16 and have been chosen to play 6 of their matches this fall on the BIG Network. They will host their first TV game vs Notre Dame on the BIG Network on Sept 21. Then on Sept. 24 travel to Nebraska and play at 7pm. Sept 27 they will be on vs MSU in East Lansing at 8pm.

Detroit Tigers on west coast vs the Athletics then play at Royals this week
The Detroit Tigers have rebounded from their July swoon and returned to the top of the American League with the best record. After winning 4 straight series in this run and winning 10 of 11 games the lead int he Central Division has improved from 5 games to 11 games!
The Pitching staff with a resurgent Bullpen and solid starts from the starters have helped turn around the free fall. Also along this recent run of success the bats have come alive and led to some exciting high scoring games!

Coach Campbell cuts down to prep for opener vs Packers
Coach Dan Campbell and the Lion's have made some roster cuts in preparation for the opener at Lambeau and the Green Bay Packers! The 2025-26 Detroit Lion's are finished with the pre season schedule and are well on the way to game 1 of the season vs the Packers and their defense of the NFC Central Title from a year ago!
With an emphasis on the improvement of the Defensive Unit and a patched up offensive line the hope are high for another stellar season at Ford Field!
