What a day for our High School teams on the diamond at McLane Stadium on the MSU campus in East Lansing, as the crowns got handed out and Detroit Catholic Central stepped up in a big way, blanking Rochester Adams 7-0 in the Final on June 13! Getting there was no cakewalk, as our Shamrocks fought through the Semifinals with a 6-1 win over Mattawan back on June 12, and you love to see the seniors put their stamp on the school's success! And there's more to celebrate across the divisions, as Traverse City St. Francis completed the repeat run, hammering Kalamazoo Christian 9-0, and Orchard Lake St. Mary's rallied late to top Grand Rapids Kenowa Hills 6-4 in 8 innings for the latest title! Mount Pleasant Sacred Heart grabbed its first crown in 30 years, blanking Marcellus 10-0 in 5, adding a title to their coach's 57-year celebration! Now we already look ahead to 2027, with practice beginning March 15 and the first contest March 24!
