Heartbreak at Comerica Park, folks, and I still can't quite believe it happened the way it did! The Tigers had this one, up 7-0 after six with feisty ace Tarik Skubal carrying a shutout into the seventh, and somehow we let it all slip away as Baltimore stormed back to win 10-9 in 12 innings before 34,406! The O's scored five in the seventh and two in the eighth, and Coby Mayo's two-run triple tied it with one out! Spencer Torkelson tried to be our hero, ripping the 100th homer of his career on the first pitch of the bottom of the 11th to knot it up, but Colton Cowser's two-out grounder up the middle in the 12th put the visitors ahead for good! Baltimore takes the series 2-1 and drops Detroit to 51-58 and last in the streak column at L1! Now we look ahead as RHP Casey Mize (4-6, 2.70) toes the rubber Friday against the Athletics! The Tigers will dust off after this standing 8 count!
