Well folks, this one stung as the Baltimore Orioles came into Comerica Park and hit three home runs in an 8-5 win over our battling Tigers on Monday night, dropping us to 50-57 and our third straight loss! Jackson Holliday had himself a night with four hits, and Baltimore just kept coming, scoring in five of the first six innings and going deep twice in the fifth and once in the sixth after nine straight games without a multi-homer game! We tried to claw back, and Hao-Yu Lee kept his hitting streak alive at 12 games with an infield single, while Matt Vierling's sacrifice fly made it a one-run game before Coby Mayo's two-run homer put it out of reach! Keider Montero (7-6) took the loss, it's tough as they fall 6 games back in the Central! But we don't quit here, and RHP Troy Melton (5-1, 1.95 ERA) looks to right the ship as Baltimore leads this series 1-0 with the trade deadline looming Aug. 3!
