What a night at Comerica Park, folks, as our Detroit Tigers absolutely hammered the Baltimore Orioles 14-0 on Tuesday night to knot this series at a game apiece! Eduardo Valencia was a one-man wrecking crew, homering twice and driving in four, and he even took a 36 mph pitch over the left-field fence for his second bomb! Colt Keith kicked it off with a two-run triple in the first, and we just never stopped, becoming the 22nd team in major league history to score in EVERY inning we came to bat! Gleyber Torres chipped in a home run and five RBI, and Kevin McGonigle reached base five times and scored three runs in front of 27,453 faithful! Young Troy Melton was masterful, tossing seven innings of three-hit ball with five punchouts to run his record to 6-1, and he's now 3-1 with a 1.09 ERA over his last seven starts! Poor Dean Kremer got hammered for eight runs in four innings, dropping to 1-4! We snapped a three-game skid in the loudest way possible!
